Question: What is the difference between Reiki and Pranic Healing?

Answer: In Reiki a person is initiated to become a channel for Divine energy. To give healing, he simply directs the Divine energy to the affected area(s).

A pranic healer also knows how to access and apply so called environmental prana, besides Divine energy. He can use different color pranas to produce more specific results. In Pranic Healing we employ additional techniques: general and localized cleansing (removing dirty/diseased energy), scanning (feeling the energy body and chakras with hands), several energizing techniques, stabilizing the projected energy, etc. Thus, the duration of a proper healing session is greatly reduced (from approx. 3 hrs in Reiki to 30 to 60 min. in Pranic Healing). We find that Pranic Healing is more precise and very powerful. This system is more suitable for people who like to know "how to" and "why" instead of just following the instructions.

The best way for you to find out the difference between Pranic Healing and Reiki, is to read the Miracles Through Pranic Healing by Master Choa Kok Sui or to attend a Pranic Healing seminar.
